I have purchased a few vehicles from Epps Chevrolet in town here over the years. When my dad died my 16-year-old got his pickup, which my son drives to school. The other day my son left the lights on.
At noon he noticed they were dim, and indeed when he tried, it would not start. I was at work at Sonoma Fire and would not be home so I was of no help. He apparently left a message with someone in the office at Epps. As soon as school was out, Steve Marshall, the general manager, found Dillon’s number from somewhere, and as soon as the bell rang he called Dillon to see if he still needed help. This type of service was greatly appreciated and why I felt I needed to share it with the community.
I don’t think anyone from Santa Rosa would have offered to assist my son the way Epps did, so next time you think about driving “over the hill” to look for a new vehicle, think about the benefits you may see if you buy locally.
